David Imani got an amazing story behind his music, a very hard working dude, who never allows challenges to keep him behind his goals, he always strives to make things happen, and For the love of music, he traveled from the Eastern DRC to Cape town South Africa, with no money, no passport.
In 2008 David got a chance to perform at the SADC free concert where he shared the stage with several best African musicians, including, LIRA, SIBONGILE KHUMALO, SIMPHIWE DANA this was one of most remarkable events in David’s pursue of musical carrier,
David holds a national diploma in sound engineering, and is a great arranger and producer of African music, RNB, Reggae, and Gospel.
David is a unique and very inspiring afro soul musician, with his richly soulful voice and touching lyrics that speak to the hearts of all who hear him. In January 2015 David recorded his first world wide selling hit song “tomorrow is coming”, in which he features the legendary Lokua Kanza.
